A message from John:

It was whilst travelling that my passion for photography begun, in the early days it was landscape images that I enjoyed shooting. while in Hawaii photographing a volcano at night I captured the Milkyway above the volcano, and so was born my passion for the night sky. In the years since I have challenged myself to develop my skills to capture the amazing detail that can be seen in the night sky. Based in the Hunter Valley, I love the history and heritage we have in this country and try to include those elements into my images. Most clear nights you can find me chasing the Milkyway around this beautiful region.

I love sharing my passion and knowledge through my images, videos and in the field workshops.
